Meet Dalton
I grew up in Harford County. Worked for other landscaping companies all through my early twenties. Watched too many of them cut corners on base prep, skip the cleanup at the end of the day, or send a different crew every week who had no idea what was on the property the week before.
I started Green Hive Landscaping to do it different. One crew, same faces every visit. Owner on every job. Real prep on every install. Real cleanup before we leave.
The name came from how I think about a crew. Bees do not have a manager checking on them every five minutes. Every bee shows up, does the job, and the hive functions because each one cares about the same outcome. That is what I expect from my crew, and that is what every Green Hive customer gets.
Today we run weekly mowing routes across Bel Air, Fallston, Abingdon, and most of the rest of Harford County. We install paver patios, build retaining walls, mulch beds in the spring, clear leaves in the fall, and plow driveways in the winter. One call, one crew, fifteen services.
If you have ever had a landscaper not show up, not return your call, or finish a job and leave a mess in your driveway, I get it. That is what Green Hive exists to fix.

Most landscaping problems start with skipped prep. Bad base under a paver patio fails in 18 months. Bad soil prep before sod kills the lawn before fall. We do not cut corners on the work nobody sees.
Clean Up Before We Leave
No clippings on the driveway. No dirt tracked across the patio. No tools left in the yard. Every job ends with the property looking better than when we got there, including the cleanup.
Quote Honestly
A small paver walkway costs less than a 100-foot retaining wall with drainage. A weekly mow on a quarter-acre lot costs less than a property with mature hedges and a half-acre lawn. We tell you the price, the scope, and the timeline before any work starts.
